Despatch and Delivery
If your order is placed before 2.30pm Herbert Sports will endeavour to despatch your order on the day of it being placed, subject to the following exceptions; the order is placed on a weekend or Bank Holiday, stock levels are insufficient or for other reasons outside of our control. If your order has qualified for free delivery, it will be sent by the Royal Mail 48 Service which takes 2 to 3 working days. If you live in a remote location in the UK please allow an extra couple of days for delivery. If your order has not qualified for free delivery you will be given various options for delivery of your parcel, including Royal Mail 48, Royal Mail 24 as well as a Next Working Day Delivery Service. The Next Day Service and Recorded Delivery will require a signature on receipt so please ensure that someone is present at the delivery address to sign for the order. Herbert Sports cannot accept liability for non-delivery of items when a signed for service is not used or for late delivery due to postal strikes or other factors beyond their control.

Delivery costs within UK
If your order has not qualified for free delivery or if you require a fast service you will be given a variety of delivery options with their respective costs at the checkout. These will include Royal Mail 48 which takes 2-3 working days, Royal Mail 24 which takes 1-2 working days, and a Next Working Day delivery which you should receive before 12pm. Please note that this service will require a signature. We also offer "Click & Collect" which enables you to collect your item in person from our shop in East Grinstead at a time convenient to you. If you choose this option your item may be collected from our shop at the following address: HERBERT SPORTS, 10/12 HIGH STREET, EAST GRINSTEAD, WEST SUSSEX, RH19 3AW. We we email you as soon as your item is ready for collection which will normally be the next working day after placing your order. Click & Collect
We offer a service whereby you can place your order on our website and collect it from our shop in East Grinstead at your convenience and without incurring any delivery charge. When you have placed your order we will email you to let you know that your goods are ready for collection, which will usually be the following working day. Alternatively please feel free to give us a call during working hours on 01342 810095 to check your order status. Our shop is open 7 days a week with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Easter Sunday.
The charge for international deliveries depends on the country of destination and the weight of the item/s you have ordered. Full details of the options and costs will be given at the checkout once you have completed your delivery address details.
You have the right to cancel your order at any time within 7 days of placing it. If the goods have already been despatched they must be returned to us with their packaging and in their original condition within 14 days for refund of the purchase price. If you paid for postage on your item you will also receive a refund equal to the standard Royal Mail 48 cost, or for International deliveries the cost of Royal Mail's cheapest service to that zone. Under no circumstances will we accept responsibility for payment of postage costs in excess of this. Return postage will be borne by the customer.
Return or Exchange
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase it can be returned within 28 days of purchase for exchange with an alternative item or for a refund of the purchase price. All purchases are covered by a 28 day exchange or refund guarantee. Your statutory rights are unaffected. To return an item please send it to the address below enclosing a note giving your order ID (printed on the packing note), listing the items you wish to return, and let us know if you would like an exchange or refund. You can return your order, to the address below, within 28 days of the date on your invoice. Returns older than 28 days will not be accepted, unless agreed by Herbert Sports in advance. You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method, which requires a signature upon delivery. Herbert Sports will not be held liable for any returned items which get lost in the post. Products must be returned in their original condition including tags & packaging. If goods are not returned in the condition in which you received them we reserve the right to refuse a refund for such returns. Upon receipt of the returned goods we will refund you any money you have paid us for the product(s) being returned subject to all our returns conditions being met, or exchange for an alternative item if required. The return postage cost of the goods is at your own expense. We will not refund your return postage other than where this has been specifically agreed in advance and in any case we will never refund more than the cost of standard Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery. Please note that items may be returned in person at our shop in East Grinstead, however it will not be possible for you to receive your refund at the same time. Refunds will be processed by our Returns Team within approximately 2 working days.
Problems with faulty items are thankfully rare, however there are occasions when products don't come up to expectations due to a manufacturing fault or similar. Should this arise with an item you have bought from us please get in touch with us by email on firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 01342 810095 Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm to get a faulty return authorisation number. Please have your order ID number ready. Faulty items returned to us without prior authorisation will not be accepted. In most instances we will send out a postage paid envelope for return of the goods. Upon receipt of the faulty item we will inspect it and if the claim is agreed you will receive either a replacement or a refund of the full purchase price of the item.
